Kindin was a male Mon Calamari bounty hunter who worked with Xo'ru. The two of them accepted Rogun the Butcher's bounty on a smuggler during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire.[2]
Biography
Around 3643 BBY, during the time of the civil war on Ord Mantell, Kindin and Xo'ru were sent by Rogun to capture and bring back a Smuggler due to believing them to have stolen a shipment of weapons, which was supposed to have been delivered to the Chagrian.[2]
When the smuggler, accompanied by Corso Riggs, arrived at the docking bay in Drelliad village, Kindin and Xo'ru confronted them. Unwilling to convince the smuggler to come with them, the two groups got into a fight in which both Kindin and Xo'ru were killed.[2]

The Old Republic — The Lost Suns 2 takes place ten years after the treaty, one week after the mission to Nar Shaddaa, and around the time of the SpecForce Incident. Since the mission and the incident are respectively part of Act I of the Jedi Knight and Republic Trooper's storylines, and the Trooper's Act I occurs concurrent to Act I of the Smuggler storyline, the general events of the Prologue and Act I for all classes can be assumed to occur in 3643 BBY. As the encounter between the Voidhound and the bounty hunters on Ord Mantell occurs during the Smuggler Prologue, Kindin's death can therefore be inferred to be in 3643 BBY.
