The Kellis system was located in the galaxy. During the Cold War between the reconstituted Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, the system was infested with smugglers.[1] Around 3643 BBY,[2] Ungo the Hutt was looking to hire security to escort a shipment of theirs through the system.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

Around that year,[2] an individual affiliated with one of the two sides in the Cold War sent a companion of theirs to escort the shipment through the Kellis system. The companion fended off a pirate attack; grateful, Ungo offered a generous reward to them.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Kellis system was mentioned in the Crew Skill mission "Ungo the Hutt" in the 2011 BioWare video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, though the information regarding the mission's outcome was later removed from the video game.[1]
