Kalakan was a location visited by Luke Skywalker, who planned to rob a bank[1] along with Warba Calip.[2]

Behind the scenes

Kalakan was originally mentioned in the solicitation for the comic Star Wars (2015) 71.[1] It was not included in the comic itself, with the bank robbery taking place on Sergia.[3]
