"It remained a cold case until the detainment of KRONOS-841, a Gotra droid captured by Imperial forces in their first year. Divo oversaw the interrogation of KRONOS-841, and in exchange for leniency, the droid offered up a data dump of pertinent memories—over a decade old—of what appeared to be Xrexus auctioning a captured Jedi Padawan named Eldra Kaitis."
―Exantor Divo, Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious[1]

KRONOS-841 was a droid who bid by proxy with his cohorts at the Xrexus Cartel's auction of Jedi Padawan Eldra Kaitis[1] in 33 BBY;[2] however, they were outbid by the industrialist Jee Kra.[1] In 19 BBY, KRONOS-841 joined the recently formed Droid Gotra,[3] but was then captured by the forces of the Galactic Empire.[1]

Coruscant Security Force Inspector Tanivos Divo oversaw KRONOS-841's interrogation, where the droid offered up a data dump of memories pertinent to the Xrexus auction in exchange for leniency. Divo's grandson, Exantor Divo, later mentioned KRONOS-841 and included an image of Kaitis from his data dump in his book, Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious,[1] which was published in 34 ABY.[4]

Behind the scenes

KRONOS-841 was mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
