Jovan system

The Jovan system was a star system in the Gordian Reach sector of the Outer Rim.

History

With three fertile agriworlds, including Jovan III, the Jovan system was the premier food source of the Gordian Reach. Those planets were crisscrossed by robo-harvesters and dotted with agricultural research labs.^[1]

After the Battle of Yavin, the Galactic Empire converted the Jovan Station as the headquarters of the Yavin blockade. This seriously affected the commerce of the entire system.^[1]
