Harvester droids were droids that worked on harvesting on the agricultural worlds such as Ruan. Equipped with shovel, clipper and pincer extensions, they were designed to sow seeds and harvest the crop. Large bins were attached in the rear for collection purposes, along with an internal shredder.
Models included the BigScoop Robo-Harvester and CD-2 Harvester.
Around 15 BBY, there were harvester droid production facilities on Mechis III.
