Jedha tea

Jedha tea was a type of tea that was consumable by humans[1] and shared its name with the Mid Rim moon Jedha.[2] During the High Republic Era, some of the beverage was kept aboard the Byne Guild transport ship Vessel.[1] In 232 BBY,[3] the human pilot Affie Hollow was injured by a poisonous vine while taking shelter on the Amaxine Space Station shortly after the Great Hyperspace Disaster. Her co-pilot, the Vessel's captain Leox Gyasi, offered Hollow some of the tea as he escorted her to their ship.[1]

Behind the scenes

Jedha tea was mentioned in the 2021 young-adult novel The High Republic: Into the Dark, written by Claudia Gray as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[4]
