"Guests attending the famous and exclusive annual Marqua Spas Grand Ball were shocked when floubette artist Jantaa Binx strode onto the dance floor and began performing during the third course of the traditional Panelan feast."
―A news report by TriNebulon News[1]

Jantaa Binx was the only known Human performer of floubette dance, which was considered aesthetically pleasing when danced by avian aliens but revolting when performed by Humans. In 1 ABY, Binx was booked to perform at the Marqua Spas Grand Ball on the planet Gailea by the Marqua Spas' assistant manager Tarin DeHallo, who would later claim that she was unaware of Binx's species. Before Binx had completed a third of her performance at the ball, it had shocked and upset the audience to the point where the artist was escorted off the Spas' premises. DeHallo was subsequently fired, and the incident was covered in a news report by TriNebulon News.

Biography

"Binx, the only known human performer of floubette dance, got nearly a third of the way through her performance before being escorted off the dance floor and off the premises."
―A news report by TriNebulon News[1]

Jantaa Binx was a Human dancer[1] who was active by 1 ABY.[2] She specialized in floubette dance, which was considered beautiful when performed by members of avian species[1] but was revolting when danced by a Human.[3] Binx was booked by Tarin DeHallo, the assistant manager to the general manager Falaco Don-DeMardo of[1] the Marqua Spas on[4] the Core Worlds[5] planet Gailea,[4] to perform at the renowned and exclusive annual Marqua Spas Grand Ball. During the third course of the ball's traditional Panelan feast, Binx strode onto the dance floor and began her floubette performance.[1]

The dance shocked the attending guests, and, when the dancer had completed nearly a third of her performance, she was escorted off the dance floor and then off the Marqua Spas' premises. Don-DeMardo was mortified by the incident, and, as a result, on the morning of the date 37:1:13, he fired DeHallo. On that same day, the incident with Binx's performance was also reported on by TriNebulon News. The news report noted that Binx was the only known Human floubette artist. It also included comments by DeHallo from when she was being escorted off the Spas' premises, in which she claimed she was unaware of Binx's species at the time of her booking and expressed her surprise at the fact. The former assistant manager also described the performance by Binx as "horrible."[1]
