The Jafan system was located in the Chommell sector,[1] a part of the Trailing Sectors portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] It shared its name with King Jafan of[3] the Chommell sector planet[4] Naboo[3] as well as the starship Jafan III.[5]

Behind the scenes

The Jafan system was introduced in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which placed it in grid square O-16.[1]
