- "I warned him not to, but my brother's childhood friend joined the rebels. When her squad needed a hot exit out of Tatooine, my brother helped them."
"And I'm guessing the Hutts found out. Not good."
"They've been holding it over us as blackmail, and now they're threatening to send it to the Imperials." - ―Jado Halcyr's sibling to Kay Vess
A childhood friend of the Fathier jockey Jado Halcyr. Later in their life they joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic and their squad was stationed on the desert planet Tatooine.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] the squad had to make a hot exit off of Tatooine and received Halcyr's assistance despite warnings from his sibling. The Hutt Cartel later learned of Halcyr's cooperation with the rebels and used that information to force him to fix races for them.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] Halcyr's sibling asked a scoundrel named Kay Vess for help with the blackmail situation. Vess later sliced into a data terminal and erased the Hutt's files on Halcyr from cartel's outpost in the Great Chott salt flat region of Tatooine.[1]
