Jabone IV was a location[2] located in the Mid Rim Territories, within the Tennuutta sector's Jabone system. It was situated in grid square Q-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] General Jan Dodonna of the Alliance to Restore the Republic carried out preliminary scans of several locations, including Jabone IV, to determine a suitable site for a new base prior to his death[2] in 1 ABY.[3] Around 2 ABY,[4] the rebels Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo were sent to perform reconnaissance on the locations Dodonna had scanned, including Jabone IV.[2]

Jabone IV was mentioned in the sixty-seventh issue of the 2015 Star Wars comic series. The issue was written by Kieron Gillen and published by Marvel Comics[2] on June 19, 2019.[5]
