The JR-4 Recon Droid was a model of recon droid available during the Third Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire.[1]

Behind the scenes

The JR-4 Recon Droid first appeared in the Legacy of the Sith expansion to Star Wars: The Old Republic as a pet. The droid, inspired by BD-1, was available as a mini-pet in celebration of the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and was gifted to players who logged in between April 28 and May 3 of that year.[2] Some players were mistakenly given the B1-SAL Probe Droid instead, although this was later amended.[3]
