Isaac was a Duros who was the son of his mother Arin and the bounty hunter Cad Bane, though he was raised by Arin and his adoptive father—and Bane's former friend—Niro.[1]
Biography
Born during Bane's time in prison, Isaac was raised by his mother Arin and Bane's old friend Niro. However, Arin would eventually die, leaving Niro to raise Isaac alone as his own.[1]
Years passed, during which Niro rose to become the marshal of the city and Isaac would often visit him during work. However, Bane was eventually released from prison and returned to confront Niro. Though Niro ordered Isaac to return home while he confronted Bane, Isaac ran back just in time to witness the two facing off. As Bane's snipers took out Niro's security droids, he shielded Isaac as Bane closed in. Isaac watched as Niro stepped out into the street to engage in a stand off with his former friend. Bane would emerge victorious, shooting Niro in the chest and killing him. As Isaac mourned his dying father, Bane approached his biological son and snarled that Niro had taken everything from him, only for Niro to reveal "Not everything". This revelation caused Bane to realize that Isaac was actually Bane's biological son, and seemed to express remorse for showing Isaac the monster he turned out to be before departing, leaving Isaac to be comforted by the mayor.[1]
