Iris-5465 was a space station that had been abandoned[1] by 3 ABY. By the same time,[2] Orr Dayfinder, a member of the Rokana Raiders pirate group, had been caught badmouthing the raiders' leader, Stinger Tash, and as a result was sentenced to be marooned on Iris-5465. Both the offense and punishment were recorded on a list of punishments administered to members of the pirate group, a copy of which was stored on a datapad in the raider's brig while they were based in the Sayma Nebula[1] around 3 ABY.[2]
Around that year,[2] the thief Kay Vess read the datapad listing Dayfinder's marooning on Iris-5465 after she escaped her cell in the brig with the help of Nix, her merqaal companion.[1]
Behind the scenes
Iris-5465 was mentioned in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for the video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft[1] on May 15, 2025.[3] The datapad entry titled "Punishments," which mentions Iris-5465, can be read by the player while in the Khepi Tomb during the "Brave the Unknown" main quest.[1]

Visit a Galaxy Far, Far Away with our Star Wars liveblog direct from San Diego Comic-Con 2024! on Popverse: "We're beginning our journey three years after the Battle of Yavin" (backup link archived on January 22, 2025) dates the events of Star Wars Outlaws to 3 ABY. Per narrative director Navid Khavari's comments, the game's "A Pirate's Fortune" DLC chronologically occurs immediately after the end of Outlaws's main events, meaning the DLC must have taken place around that year.
