The Ione system was located in the Anoat sector in the Outer Rim Territories. It included the planet Ione.
History
The system contained the spaceport planet Ione, which had an indigenous population of about 1 billion.
In 3 ABY, the Star Destroyers Avenger and Stalker, temporarily detached from Death Squadron as part of the search for the Rebel Alliance's new base, dispatched a number of probe droids from the Ione system to nearby Allyuen, Hoth and Tokmia.[5][3]
