A species of large intelligent mollusk existed in the galaxy. At the time of the Invasion of Naboo, one such sentient mollusk kept records for Senator Tikkes,[1] who represented his homeworld of Mon Cala in the Galactic Republic's Senate.[2] It rested in a pool in Tikkes's office at the Senate Building.[1]
