The IntCon was the counterintelligence branch of the Internal Organization Bureau, a sub-unit of the Galactic Empire's Imperial Intelligence organization.[1]
Behind the scenes
IntCon was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Dawn of Rebellion, a roleplaying supplementary sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying series that was published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2018.[1] IntCon also existed in the Star Wars Legends continuity, being first mentioned in the 1989 Imperial Sourcebook, which was authored by Greg Gorden and published by West End Games.[2] Being identified as the Internal Counterintelligence Branch, they performed a role of locating enemy agents and spy rings that had infiltrated Imperial Intelligence.[3]
