An infrared receptor[1] or infrared scanner[2] was a type of sensor.[1] Astromech droids such as the R2, R5, and R6-series models were equipped with infrared receptors.[3] The R2-series astromech droid R2-D0 was equipped with an infrared receptor.[1]
