The Imynusoph system was located in the Kallea sector of the Outer Rim Territories in grid square J-21 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was situated at the endpoint of the[2] super-hyperroute[3] known as the Hydian Way, which connected it to Terminus system.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Imynusoph system was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying boxed set.[4] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[5]

The system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity via mentions in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.[6] The Clone Wars: Act on Instinct, a webcomic authored by Pablo Hidalgo and released on StarWars.com[7] over the span of the 2009[8]2010[9] second season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series,[8] featured the first appearance of the Imynusoph system.[7]
