- "Once you've acquired the agarics, the fun part is stuffing them. I've used diced meat, mixed veg, and even imitation killcrab as fillin' before, but this here recipe is one of my favorite variations, hands down."
- ―Strono Tuggs, The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook
Imitation killcrab was a type of food meant to imitate the meat of a killcrab. The Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs used it as a filling to stuff fungus caps in the dish known as Constable's Caps.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] he listed it with other possible fillings for the dish in his first cookbook, The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook.[1]
Behind the scenes
Imitation killcrab was mentioned in the 2019 cookbook Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook, which was written by Marc Sumerak and Chelsea Monroe-Cassel.[1]
