- "I thought there might be relics down there!"
"That's what you told Master Ick'rik, anyway…" - ―Silandra Sho and Creighton Sun, on a Saphantine burrow Sho crawled in
Ick'rik was a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era.[2] By 382 BBY,[3] Jedi Padawan Silandra Sho crawled into a saphantine creature's burrow while on the astronomical object Taltos with fellow Padawan Creighton Sun, later telling Master Ick'rik that she had done so because she thought there were potentially relics in the burrow.[1]
In 382 BBY,[3] when Sho and Sun were both Jedi Masters, Sun spoke with Sho after the two reunited on the moon Jedha, mentioning the incident with the saphantine burrow on Taltos and what Sho had said to Master Ick'rik. Sun considered Ick'rik to have been old, even when he and Sho were Padawans.[2]
Behind the scenes

- ―Creighton Sun, in the The High Republic: The Battle of Jedha script
Ick'rik was mentioned in the audio drama The High Republic: The Battle of Jedha, written by George Mann[1] and released on January 3, 2023 as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase II.[4] The spelling of the character's name was confirmed by the release of the audio drama's script[2] on February 14 of that year.[4] In the audio drama, Creighton Sun states "That's what you told Master Ick'rik, anyway,"[1] while the same line of dialogue in the script reads "That's what you told old Master Ick'rik, anyway."[2]
