An ice mound was a type of frozen treat that consisted of a mound of ice crystals inside a conical container. Ice mounds could have a range of flavors. The Tasty Comet was a brand of ice mound sold by the Tasty Comet Frozen Confection Company on the planet Kwenn. While on Kwenn, the Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi bought a Tasty Comet ice mound, but requested that its flavor purely be ice, confusing the vendor.[1]

Ice mounds were featured in the 2024 novel The Living Force by John Jackson Miller.[1] As confirmed by editor Tom Hoeler, ice mounds serve as a Star Wars parallel to real-world snow cones,[2] a type of frozen treat that has also nonetheless appeared in several Star Wars works.[3]
