The Ianane system was a star system located amidst the hyperspace anomalies west of the Core Worlds. It contained at least three planets, including Ianane III, whose brightness led to it being mistaken for a stellar companion for its star. It was also the site of the Ianane Ring, an ring-shaped object as black as Ianane III was white.
