Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

After IG-88A and its cohorts killed their creators, it began a plan to overthrow organic life. Meanwhile, IG-88B played its part by becoming a bounty hunter to draw attention away from IG-88A.[1]
