The Hutt Cartel vault was a secure room in the Hutt Cartel district of Myrra on the Outer Rim planet Akiva, where the Hutt Clan criminal syndicate and Surat Nuat's gang kept valuables[1] during 3 ABY.[2] The vault could be opened by using three keycards assigned to members of the game including Surat Nuat, Badru, and Makarial Gravin.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] the vault contained credits, the materials necessary to apply a "Boonta Brawler" paint scheme to a S57 Cardinal speeder bike and an Exhaustion Shift Token.[1]

The thief Kay Vess gained access to the room outside the vault[1] in 3 ABY,[2] at which time she accessed the data terminal and learned the location of the three keycards required to unlock the vault. After recovering the keycards, Vess returned to unlock the vault and stole the shift token and the paint materials.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Hutt Cartel vault appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The vault was one of several in the game that the player could access after finding three corresponding keycards.[1]
