Shift Tokens were game pieces that were used in Kessel Sabacc. Players could play Shift Tokens at the start of their turn and could be a single effect or an active effect until the next card reveal. Players would select three tokens at the start of the game from their own possession. Each Shift Token could only be played once during a game.[1]

There were a total of sixteen different types of shift tokens that could be used in Kessel sabacc: Free Draw, Refund, Extra Refund, Embezzlement, Major Fraud, Cook The Books, Markdown, Prime Sabacc, General Tariff, Target Tariff, General Audit, Target Audit, Embargo, Immunity, Exhaustion, Direct Transaction.[1]

Behind the scenes

Shift Tokens along with Kessel Sabacc were created for the 2024 Ubisoft video game Star Wars Outlaws. The tokens served as collectables for the Star Wars Outlaws and were used for the optional activity, Kessel Sabacc. The tokens were rewarded to the players for winning at various Kessel Sabacc tables, found in containers or bought from merchants.[1]
