A hull repair system was a system that repaired damage to starship's hull and restored it's deflector shields. The Trailblazer, an EML-850 light freighter owned by Kay Vess had such a system installed[1] by 3 ABY.[2] The Rokana Raiders flew R93 refractors that were equipped with a RK-250 repair system[1] By 3 ABY,[2] the Miyuki Trade League developed redirecting manifolds which diverted emergency power directly to hull repair.[1]
Behind the scenes
Hull repair systems appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The term hull repair system was included in the in universe description of redirecting manifold passive system released with "A Pirate's Fortune" story expansion to Star Wars Outlaws. While appearing as part as game mechanic, the system is not pictured in the game.[1]
