Horos was a celestial body[3] that was located in the Horos system, a part of the Lambda sector[1] in the Slice portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] It shared its name with the hyperlane known as the Horos Spine. During the Andoan Wars—fought from 57 BBY to 39 BBY between the Spiverelda, the group of worlds colonized by the Aqualish species and being under the influence of[3] Ando, the Aqualish homeworld,[4] and[3] the fifteen Aqualish-settled planets known as the Andoan Free Colonies[5]—the forces of the Spiverelda defeated those of the Free Colonies at a confrontation at Horos.[3]
Behind the scenes
Horos was introduced in the 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare, authored by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Horos system, and therefore the astronomical object itself, in grid square Q-15.[2]
