Honeyfruit was a type of fruit grown on the agriworld Hetzal Prime, an Outer Rim planet.[1] In 232 BBY,[2] they were in season at the same time as two other fruits—kingberries and ice melons—and were cultivated on vine-laden terraces.[1] That year,[2] the Hetzal system's minister—Zeffren Ecka—stared out the window of his office, noticing harvester droids at work picking honeyfruit, kingberries, and ice melons, mentally noting that something else would be in season by the next month.[1]
Behind the scenes
Honeyfruit appeared in Light of the Jedi, a 2021 novel written by Charles Soule as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[3]
