A holorecorder[1] (also spelled holo-recorder) was a device used to record and project holograms. Cartographers like Auric and Rhyssa Graf used such devices to create three-dimensional surveys of landscapes.[2] Some droid models were equipped with internal holorecorders,[3] like the 9D9-s54 Dianoga spy droid.[4]
