- "Don't worry, darling. It's all there in the prenuptial. I just need your holo-seal. Sign it and all be well.."
- ―Diara's Mother to Talesh Makeric in the Baradium Dynasty holodrama.
Holo-seals were used to sign documents, including prenuptial agreements prior to a marriage.[1]
Prior to Baradium Dynasty holodrama's fifty-ninth episode,[1] which was released before 3 ABY,[2] the character Diara's mother pressured their fiancee Talesh Makeric to sign a prenuptial using his holo-seal.[1]
Behind the scenes
Holo-seals were first mentioned in canon in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws.[1]
Holoseals were mentioned in Star Wars Legends continuity in the 1997 Platt's Smugglers Guide sourcebook by West End Games. In legends they were plastic stickers manufactured by MerenData and used by Imperial Customs to indicate if cargo had passed inspection[3]
