Hollinium was a material that could be found in veins underground. At one point during the Imperial Era, a vein of hollinium was discovered underneath a colony by a mining conglomerate, which paid off the Moff local to the colony so they would ignore the destruction of the colony at the hands of the conglomerate.[1]
Behind the scenes
Hollinium was mentioned in the Canon continuity in Starships and Speeders, a 2020 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying game.[1] It originated in the Legends continuity in Goroth: Slave of the Empire, a 1995 supplement to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Nigel D. Findley.[2]
