During the Imperial Era, a mining conglomerate discovered a vein of hollinium below a colony in the galaxy. The conglomerate amassed a group of Neutron Star-class bulk cruisers in orbit over the colony, intending to obliterate them. Meanwhile, it paid off a local Moff to turn a blind eye to the massacre.[1]
A group of travelers eventually discovered the mining conglomerate's plans and set out to stop them, as they were the only individuals capable of doing so.[1]

The mining conglomerate was mentioned in Starships and Speeders, a 2020 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying game.[1]
