Hesten were primates[1] with large ears, a long tail, four arms and two legs and were seen on the planet Balnab.[2] Very similar to the momongs on Wasskah,[1] they were hunted by the Balnab.[2] In 20 BBY[3] C-3PO and R2-D2 found themselves in a hunt of the creatures after being stranded on the planet.[2]
That same year[4] some hestens were pets of the slaver Darts D'Nar.[5]
Behind the scenes
Hesten first appeared in the episode "Nomad Droids," the sixth episode of fourth season of The Clone Wars television series.[2] Though going unnamed in the episode, they were identified as hesten in the episode guide trivia gallery.[1]
