A species[1] that originated from the Heptooine system[2] and eventually evolved into the sentient Heptooinian species. They possessed an organ that could store oxygen, which was considered a leftover vestigial by the Heptooinians and commonly extracted when still young, though those who kept theirs until adulthood could still store approximately half an hour's worth of oxygen inside.[1]
