A heat exchanger was a component of speeders. Rey's speeder's primary heat exchanger was located at the front of the craft and was covered with a grill. Light Infantry Utility Vehicles and Resistance transports also had heat exchangers.[1] Astromech droid heat exchangers were adapted to create flux capacitor connectors in order to increase the effectiveness of starship mounted laser cannons.[2]
