Haxion Brood Bounty Droids were reprogrammed loadlifter droids used by the criminal organization Haxion Brood to hunt bounties along with their own bounty hunters. Assembled from smuggled and stolen parts, the heavily-built enforcers served the gang with brute force. The droids came in a variety of names, colors, and designs, with some brandishing antennas and others having padding along their shoulders. With a cocky and hostile attitude, they attacked as rugged brawlers, taunting their foes in combat. Occasionally, they would be accompanied by Haxion Brood commandos.[1]
During Cal Kestis' secret mission to rebuild the Jedi Order, the Jedi Purge survivor encountered multiple Haxion Brood Bounty Droids, including Kompaktor, the Maestro, and Ba-Gonk.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Haxion Brood Bounty Droids were created for the 2019 video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, developed by Respawn Entertainment.[1] Concept art for them was done by Prog Wang, with some designs depicting them with more humanoid-sized bodies and some with parts off B1-series battle droids or droidekas.[2]
