The Hanofar system was located in the Southern Core portion of[2] the Colonies.[1] It contained the terrestrial[3] world Hanofar.[4] Early during the Galactic Civil War,[3] Hanofar was held by the Galactic Empire[4] and was the site of protests against Imperial taxation which eventually grew violent and led to[3] skirmishes with Imperial forces.[4]

Behind the scenes

The Hanofar system was first mentioned in 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square L-13.[2]
