The Grinning Moon of Jiruus was a moon that orbited the planet Jiruus, located in the Jiruus system[3] within the New Territories portion[2] of the Outer Rim Territories. It was situated in the Rolion sector at the coordinates P-7 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] When the pilots of the New Republic's Hound and Riot Squadrons celebrated with the residents of Jiruus on their planet[3] in 4 ABY,[4] the Grinning Moon of Jiruus was visible in the planet's sky.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Grinning Moon of Jiruus appeared in Alphabet Squadron, the 2019 initial novel in Alexander Freed's Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy.[3]
