Grillig juice was a beverage that was consumed in the Chiss Ascendancy, the nation of the Chiss species. The beverage came in a handheld package that had a sipper for the drinker to use.[1]
In 18 BBY,[2] Caregiver Mitth'ali'astov, core name "Thalias," kept packets of grillig juice in her pocket to give to sky-walker navigator Che'ri if the girl became thirsty while on duty aboard the Chiss heavy cruiser Springhawk. Lieutenant Commander Laknym warned Che'ri to not spill any of the beverage on the control board, and the young girl exaggeratedly pulled out the packet's sipper to display her care.[1] Later that year,[3] Che'ri drank grillig juice while at the Ardok Ranch on the planet Ool.[4]

Grillig juice first appeared in the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Greater Good the second installment of the Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy, written by Timothy Zahn.[1]
