The Gourmet Master 500, known simply as the Gourmet Master, and abbreviated as the GM 500, was a type of food synthesizer that was installed on the SoroSuub Corporation's Luxury 3000 space yacht. It could synthesize food for any species, and did so with a level of quality equal to that of the greatest chefs in the galaxy. The Gourmet Master's menu was regularly kept up to date by the SoroSuub Corporation.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Gourmet Master 500 was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in "Ships and Vehicles: Selection (II),"[1] a booklet in a series of reference booklets titled the Star Wars Encyclopedia, published by De Agostini on July 29, 2022.[2] It originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, and was first mentioned in the Dark Force Rising Sourcebook, a 1992 hardcover supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, published by West End Games.[3]
