Gorak's ring was a gaudy ring with a gold colored band and a large orange gem. It was worth 500 credits and owned by the Pyke Syndicate underboss Gorak Palas.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] a Merqaal named Nix stole the ring from Gorak while Gorak was talking to Nix's companion, Kay Vess. Following the meeting Nix produced the ring from his mouth and gave it to Vess.[1]
Later that same year,[2] Vess meet with Gorak about a job, during which Gorak told her that he wanted his ring back. Vess then had to decided if the ring was worth more as credits or worth giving back to Gorak to boost her reputation with the Pykes.[1]
Behind the scenes

Gorak's rings was a quest item that appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[1] The in game prop was designed by Elias Rivet, who later shared the concept art for the ring on their Artstation.[3] In the game, the player acquires the ring during the "Underworld" main quest. The player may sell the ring for 500 credits or keep it until they talk to Gorak again at the beginning of "The Traitor" syndicate quest where they can give it back to Gorak. If they give it back they gain reputation with the syndicate. If they decide to keep it or have previously sold it they will only get the money from selling it.[1]
