Gollin

General Gollin was an officer of the Galactic Empire that served during the Imperial Era aboard an Imperial-class Star Destroyer.^[1] In 1 BBY,^[2] Gollin and their Star Destroyer arrived within the atmosphere of the astronomical object Heva^[1] in the Outer Rim's^[3] Sevetta sector^[4] as Galactic Emperor Palpatine's enforcer,^[5] Darth Vader, was being hunted down by a crew of bounty hunters led by the cyborg Beilert Valance.^[1]

During the hunt, the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Formidable along with its contingent of TIE starfighters were destroyed by bot-drones, leaving Lord Vader stranded on Heva's surface. As Gollin and their Star Destroyer arrived, the ship's Imperial captain reported to Gollin on the situation, and suggested that they launch their own starfighters to rescue Vader from his hunters. Gollin countered, confidently believing that Vader would have killed the bounty hunters before the Imperial Starfighter Pilots readied into their flight suits. Indeed, Vader soon after defeated Valance.^[1]

Gollin was a human with light skin, short blonde hair, and light blue eyes. As an officer of the Galactic Empire, Gollin wore the Imperial officer's uniform which included an Imperial kepi, a utility belt, and the tunic. Denoting their military rank was a double-row style rank insignia plaque of four red tiles above four blue tiles, along with four code cylinders; two each on their left and right tunic chest pockets.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Gollin debuted in Target Vader 4, a comic^[1] released on October 9, 2019.^[6] The issue was written by Robbie Thompson and pencilled by Stefano Landini.^[1]
