Gnats were small creatures that lived on the planet Vorlag, congregated in swarms, and ate rotting meat. There was a large number of them outside Slussen Urla-fir Kal Kethin-wa Canker's palace because of the large amount of flesh stored there to be fed to his hroth-beasts.[1]
