Serving the Rebel Alliance
Captain Girard served in the Alliance to Restore the Republic and was a veteran of the Galactic Civil War.[3]
Serving the New Republic
After the Rebel Alliance transitioned into the New Republic following the Battle of Endor[4] in 4 ABY Girard joined the New Republic Defense Fleet and rose to the rank of Captain. In 9 ABY,[5] She led three Defender-class cruiser, including her own ship the Dawnbringer, to Seatos on orders from Fleet Command to intervene in General Hera Syndulla's unauthorized mission to Seatos.[1]
Personality and traits
Girard had little patience for games that might fool a less-seasoned soldier.[3]
Behind the scenes
Girard was portrayed by Eisa Davis[6] and appeared in the fifth episode of the Star Wars: Ahsoka television series "Part Five: Shadow Warrior," that was released on September 12, 2023.[7]
