Fleet Command was the command structure of the naval branch of the New Republic

Galactic Civil War
During the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire. Following a skirmish on Takodana, Inferno Squad asked Senator Leia Organa to approve a mission to Chinook Station to capture Imperial Admiral Garrick Versio since fleet command may not have approved of the squad undertaking a personal mission. Organa sympathized, and approved the mission.[2]
Peacetime

In 9 ABY,[4] Fleet Command was stationed aboard Home One and contacted Ahsoka Tano and Huyang to inform them of the attack on the Defender-class cruiser Vesper.[5]
