A gingleson was a type of creature in the galaxy. It had a pelt.
After escaping the Raid on Kessel, the crew of the Millennium Falcon was being pursued by TIE fighters. When Han Solo asked Tobias Beckett whether they were still being chased, Beckett replied with the metaphor of a gingleson's pelt, to Solo's annoyance.[1]
