A squadron of TIE/sa bombers destroyed Kryze Castle on Kalevala and forced its owner, Bo-Katan Kryze and her fellow Mandalorian Din Djarin to evacuate the planet[1] in 9 ABY.[3]
History
Attack on Kalevala
The TIE/sa bomber squadron was active by 9 ABY[3][4] and was sent to the planet Kalevala in the Mandalore system where the squad participated in an attack on Kryze Fortress where the bombers were sent in while a squadron of TIE/IN interceptors engaged their Mandalorian opponents Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze. While the wave of TIE Interceptors were defeated, they bought the bombers enough time to destroy Castle Kryze with at least three being present during the engagement. Outraged, Bo-Katan pursued the squad in her Kom'rk-class fighter/transport and managed to destroy one of the bombers, but was forced to flee when the rest of the TIE Interceptors arrived and escaped with Din Djarin.[1]
