- "That's a lot of ships for an Imperial warlord!"
- ―Bo-Katan Kryze
During the New Republic Era, a group of TIE bombers bombed Kryze Castle on the planet Kalevala. The fleet was encountered by Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze who were returning from a mission to Mandalore when a group of TIE interceptors attacked them. Though the pair were able to defend themselves from their initial attackers, destroying several interceptors, they were not able to prevent[2] a squadron[5] three TIE/sa bombers from destroying Kryze Castle. Kryze was able to take out one of the bombers before she and Djarin were forced to retreat when the bombers were reinforced by additional interceptors.[2]
Behind the scenes
The dogfight over Kalevala was first seen in the trailer for The Mandalorian Season Three on January 16, 2023.[6]
