Ghalla was a terrestrial astronomical object in the galaxy that was the site of the Roundelay Trials, a civil war and ethnic cleansing that was perpetrated under the guise of a legal proceeding. The population was interred in work camps, including family members of Senator Jakob Garn, until the Jedi Vernestra Rwoh helped to liberate them. The Galactic Republic had been slow to react to the tragedy, but passed numerous bills in the aftermath.^[2]
